This sites purpose
The purpose of this site is for LDS members to come together and share their knowledge of the Scriptures and knowledge of the Gospel with one another. The Scriptures can be very overwhelming at times and if you are like me, you CRAVE more knowledge!! Everytime I read, I hunger for more.
I have to mention something my Dad used to tell me about Scripture Study. He says, when you are newly babtised, you have to think of it like this. Your a baby, just starting out. You cant go out and eat steak, you have to start off with milk. As you begin studying and increase your knowledge, then you can eat the steak. So, when starting out, start off with small scripture studying. Pray, read, then pray again. Eventually you will be able to really go into depth with your studying.

About me.....
Well, Hi. My name is Melissa. Let me tell you alittle about my background. I am almost 31 years old. I have 3 beautiful children that have blessed my life dearly. In June of 2007, I moved to Orem Utah. I loved it there! It was perfect! Not long after I moved there, the missionaries started visiting me and I started taking lessons at my mission ward leaders house. My mission ward leader and his family made a huge impact on my life. I will forever be greatful to them and they will forever have a special spot in my heart! Anyhow, back to the story......I just could not have been babtied fast enough!! Then finally, August 25, 2007, was my day!! That day was so special to me. I remember saying I DID NOT wanna leave the Ward that day!! I was perfect at that moment!
After my babtism, times got really hard on me. In my personal life I came to some trails that I had to learn to overcome.( and I am still trying to overcome them to this day)I ventured away from the Church for a bit, but Heavenly Father has helped me to find my way back! I am still learning and I always, I mean ALWAYS have questions. It is hard sometimes as a convert to know if I read something wrong, or I may need something explained to me. So, I am sure there are others just like me, and I pray that this site will help them and me as well!!
