The Celestial Room represents the highest degree of glory that our Heavenly Father's children can attain, and is comparable to the glory of the sun (see 1 Corinthians 15:40-42). When a person enters the Celestial Room it symbolizes entering in to the Kingdom and Presence of God. While in the Celestial Room, people whisper quietly to show reverence to God, and to maintain the spirit of the room. Members spend time in the room praying, meditating, receiving inspiration, and drawing closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It's a special and sacred experience for members to spend time in the Celestial Room with their families because of what it represents.
